Hello fudge monsters ! My eardrums are about to explode. The bathrooms in my house are under renovation. It sooooo freakin' noisy. Daddy changed the super ancient CPU to a new one. And some of my homework (book review) are stored in the ancient CPU. So, i have to like retrieve the stuff back from it. ( with help from daddy, of course. i'm not a tech geek ._. ) Anyways, i'm gonna post about the trip with pictures. Yay! So, umm... took a night flight to Australia. I'm in love with the plane's entertainment system. They had all the latest movies and i like watched 4 or 5 movies altogether. I watched Bride Wars, Marley and Me, Slumdog Millionaire and Hotel for Dogs. Anyways, on the first day went to Paradise Country Farm. It's uber cool there...i got to touch koalas, kangaroos, horses, sheeps and cows. Got to feed some of the animals too (: Oh and some idiotic bird pooped on me ! Like ewww ! This is the first time a bird pooped on me and it happens in Australia. Wonderful... After the farm tour, went to Mount Nathan Winery. It was quite boring there because it was more for the adults with the wine tasting and all. Because it is winter in Australia, the sun sets at around 5pm and it gets real dark. And cold, but i like the cold weather compared to Singapore's hot and humid one. At around 7pm went for dinner at this Chinese restaurant. The dinner was arranged by the tour group. After dinner went for a short walk. Most of the shops are closed by 5pm. But there were quite a number still open. The next day, we went to Sea World. It was totally awesome. I got to see pelicans and seals, lol. I went on some of the thrill rides with daddy. The corkscrew was amazing. I don't understand why i laugh and not scream when i go on roller coasters. Haha. We also watched the shows they had like the Sesame Street Show and the Seal Detectives. My sister got picked to go on stage during the Sesame Street show. We bought some souvenirs and got picked up at 5pm. We didn't have dinner provided that day, so went to Hungry Jacks to eat. I find Australia a million times more cleaner than Singapore. Even the toilets in Sea World and Movie World are super clean. You don't see cleaners that often unlike Singapore. Well, the next day we went to Movie World. It's the same as Sea World with shows and rides. Except that there are no sea animals, but characters from movies and cartoons. I went on all the thrill rides with daddy except for one which i went by myself. The best is Superman Escapes. The ride( roller coaster) is like freakin' awesome. I screamed when i rode on this one. At the speed it was going (100km/h) and from the height it went down from the hill, it was crazy scary. The other ride which i liked was the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster. At one part, the roller coaster moves backwards and it goes down the hill backwards also. Quite freaky but totally fun (: I went on some of the family rides with my sister and both my parents. Also watched the Shrek 4D show and the character parade. We bought some souvenirs and got picked up at 5pm as usual. At around 7pm, went to have dinner at a Chinese seafood restaurant. Seafood as in prawns and squids only. Everyone was disappointed. We expected better. After dinner went for a walk. Last day in Australia D: Went whale watching in the Pacific Ocean. Coolio (: You had to be extremely patient for the whale to appear. When you get to see the whales, it's very exciting...but honestly, i found it quite boring. Yeah, because i've got no patience. And now, i feel super lazy to type the rest of the things. Anyways, it's not that interesting and i'll end here :D Ciaoooo. |
